Tender Details : Council is seeking Quotes for construction of the upgrade to the James Reserve Playground at 85 St Hellier Street, Heidelberg Heights 3081.
The scope of works is detailed in the appendices however an overview of the project works include but is not limited to:
• Site mobilisation and management
• Demolition and offsite disposal of materials and equipment
• Earthworks
• Construction of landscaping and playground works
• Drainage works
• Site demobilisation, clean up and rehabilitation
• The rebound wall requires a Building Permit which council are obtaining, the Contractor is required to have a Building Licence to be used for the building permit.

The scope of works is detailed in the appendices however an overview of the project works include but is not limited to:• Site mobilisation and management• Demolition and offsite disposal of materials and equipment• Earthworks• Construction of landscaping and playground works• Drainage works• Site demobilisation, clean up and rehabilitation• The rebound wall requires a Building Permit which council are obtaining, the Contractor is required to have a Building Licence to be used for the building permit. • Liaison with and onsite management of Rotary Club and enabling works to salvage existing play equipment• Liaison with and onsite management of council engaged artist• Pickup of council supplied materials, logs etc.• There will be a separate contractor constructing the Public Toilet at the same time as these works. Allowance must be made to coordinate site access and management and work in with this contractor as required. • The soccer season is due to commence in April 2025 and landscape works must be complete prior. A realistic construction schedule must be provided with the tender which will be used as part of the tender assessment.In addition to the above, Contractors are to visit the site and make their own investigation and assessment of site conditions.
