The City of Greater Bendigo delivers an annual capital works program of approximately $70 - 80M per annum, along with a variety of major operating projects to ensure key community services are maintained.City projects need to ensure compliance with the Greater Bendigo Planning Scheme and various other piece of legislation as part of the projects design and approval process. This predominately takes the form of town planning advice on planning permit triggers and preparation and support for planning permits.Previously the City has moved from this resource being delivered internally to using an external town planning consultant (starting in 2023) to manage this planning advice and planning permit preparation.Please refer to uploaded document for full details
